Will the Rideshare+ program still exist?

Yes, all cars already enrolled in the Rideshare+ program in the old app will stay enrolled as we migrate the cars over to the Global Platform. This will be called “Rideshare Only.” Under the Cars page, these vehicles will ONLY have a “Rideshare” tag applied opposed to “carshare” and “rideshare.”

Below are the possible programs that your car(s) can be enrolled in:

  • Carshare & Rideshare
  • Rideshare Only (previously Rideshare+)

What changes will be made for turnaround blocks?

Turnaround blocks will still be automatically placed at the end of a reservation for "RIDESHARE ONLY"cars but now owners will be able to easily access which car(s) have these blocks currently in the car page depicted through a timer icon. This was previously available under the Rentals page, and is now available on the Car page. Hosts will be able to manually remove the blocks early once they have inspected the vehicle.
