Rideshare Car and Document Requirements

Submitting and Updating Information

To enable the Rideshare feature on your vehicle, your car must meet the below standards.

• Car must be located in one of our Drive with Uber cities
• Car must have 4 doors & at least 4 seats
• Car must meet the eligibility requirements as set out in our Terms of Service
• Car must meet the local Uber requirements outlined below

Submit documents through our Document Collector to be approved by Uber and enable your car for Rideshare to begin receiving Drive with Uber rentals.

Requirements

Car and document requirements vary from market to market. In cities where UBER inspections are needed- virtual inspections are not acceptable. Please check Uber's website to see which inspection vendors are approved.
